Become a Sponsor for Operation Military Appreciation Day brought to you by the Monroe County Fair Board  You or your organization can be a sponsor for 2007 Operation Military Appreciation Day!     NOVEMBER 11, 2007 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY        Operation Military Appreciation Day (OMAD) is a day to honor, celebrate, and recognize our Military and Veteran's and their families for their service.  The Warriors Walk is a way to take steps toward a deeper awareness of our military and to march together as a community in support of their work. Thanks to the generous donations from our Sponsors, there will be no fees for individuals to participate in the Warriors Walk.  The first 200 walkers will receive free shirts with the Sponsor's name printed on the back.  These t-shirts can be seen around Bloomington even after the event as a continuous reminder of Military Awareness and the sacrifice the Military families continue to make and have made in the past.  It also will point out your commitment to this community project.  Sponsors will be recognized in our promotional materials - newspaper, radio and on display at the Operation Military Appreciation Day (OMAD) event.  ANY funds raised in excess of our expenses are donated to the local Indiana Army National Guard Family Readiness Group. Sponsors will also have the opportunity to set up a booth around the Warriors Walk area.  You will need to provide your on tent covering as this booth will be placed outside.  We will provide a table and 2 chairs per booth.  Please remember that the weather can be incremental so be prepared.  Booth space is limited so inquire now.
